Stonyhurst College is a Catholic, co-educational boarding and day school in the Jesuit tradition for pupils aged 13-18, but warmly invites applications from other denominations. We also have an international school roll, delivering a broadly-based curriculum sensitive to others and the needs of the wider world.
A personal tutor system means that each pupil's progress is carefully monitored, and a programme of 25 AS/A levels ensures that the brightest are challenged, while not losing sight of the needs of those less gifted. A networked ICT system means that all pupils have e-mail and controlled internet access.
Sporting and recreational facilities are outstanding, and this is reflected in Stonyhurst's national reputation for its sporting excellence.
Academic, music, art and design, Sixth Form and all-rounder Scholarships (supported by bursaries where appropriate) at 11+ (for entry to St Mary's Hall), 13+ and for Sixth Form entry.
