Beechwood Sacred Heart School is an independent GSA day and boarding school for girls aged 11 - 18, with its own integral Preparatory School for boys and girls aged 3 - 11.
The school is located in twenty three acres of landscaped grounds, close to the centre of Tunbridge Wells, less than one hour from London and within easy reach of main airports.
Founded in 1915 by the Society of the Sacred Heart, Beechwood retains a special family quality, underpinned by standards and values derived from its Catholic tradition. The school now welcomes pupils of all creeds, including representatives from several different countries overseas.
Beechwood pupils enjoy a happy relaxed atmosphere. A strong partnership between family, staff and pupils encourages every child to develop and to excel at their individual talents. Small classes allow for individual pastoral care with effective, careful monitoring of academic and social progress.

Beechwood celebrates exam successes|18/10/2006|This was another excellent year for A-level results in which all girls achieved the grades needed for their chosen HE courses. The pass rate was 100% with almost half of all grades being A grades. The average university points score was a record 354 points per candidate.
At GCSE, once again our figures outstripped the national averages, but statistics only ever tell part of the story. Our results showed some outstanding individual successes, with every girl achieving at least as well as we would have expected. Congratulations to everyone on their efforts.
